The images
that you open appear in their own document windows. You can cut and paste the images to appear
in any other document window.
Adding live effects
The Live effects filters that Expression Design offers, fall into the categories of Paint, Sketch,
Surface, Arts and Crafts, and Photographic, These filters are available from the Effects palette of the
Property Inspector. You can add, delete and organize your filters using this palette, as well as turn
them off temporarily. Each filter that you assign has options available that you can set in this
palette, as well.

To add an effect, select the image or vector object, click the Add button in the Effects palette, and
choose from the multitude of effects.
Exporting images with live effects to be opened in Blend
You can save your images with their effects by exporting them using File ??? Export and choosing
an image file type. Then you can add them into Blend. If you want to export just the image and not
the entire document, then copy and paste the image into a new document. Be sure the document
size is the same as the image; otherwise, your image will be exported with extra white space
around it, or will be cropped.
