"Practical DWR 2 Projects"

Frankly, I

Summary
So, if you decide to put a server up at home, assuming your ISP allows it, you now have yourself
a nifty little file manager to run on it! In the process of building this application, we saw
more of DWR in action, including a new twist on securing remotable classes, namely the ???deny

visually pleasing interface a breeze. We saw how combining those two things, plus a few extra
libraries on the back end, can allow you to create powerful, rich Internet-based applications
that in many ways rival their fat-client equivalents.
In the next chapter, we??™ll develop a project that is a little more ???Enterprise??? in nature,
something you can imagine seeing in any office in America (or any other country for that matter),
namely a reporting portal.
