a digital camera??”what the heck is a 9.3mm lens? Is that wide angle? Telephoto? Who knows?
That??™s why most digital cameras also advertise their focal length in ???35mm equivalents?????”in
other words, if this digital camera were a 35mm camera, its 9.3mm lens would give you the same
picture as a 50mm camera, for instance. Many photographers know that 20??“35mm is considered
wide angle, while 50??“90mm is thought to be ???normal?????”great, for portraits, for instance. Anything
over 100mm is thought to be ???telephoto,??? good for pulling in distant scenes. 200mm or more is
considered a powerful telephoto.
Be sure to check the 35mm equivalent numbers for an indication of the camera??™s real value.
