"How to Do Everything: Digital Camera 5 edition"

Scout out a good spot before the game starts, so that
you can keep the sun behind one of your shoulders. If you want to know the basics of
exposure, check out Chapter 3.
?–  Whenever possible, try to frame the action as tightly as you can, meaning that only
a few players are in the frame at once If you??™re including the whole field in your
shot, the scene will lack impact and it will be less interesting.
Photograph Animals
Animal photography??”whether it??™s your family pet or a pack of wolves at the zoo??”works best
when you have a lot of zoom, a fast shutter speed, and a tripod. Try to fill the frame as much as
possible, and expect the unexpected??”like your subject suddenly darting out of your frame just
when you get ready to snap the picture. Figure 7-2, for instance, shows a pair of wolves frolicking
that would have been impossible to shoot without a fast shutter and a lens with a long reach.
FIGURE 7-2 Wildlife photography requires many of the same shooting skills as action
photography.

same sort of thing on your next vacation? Well, you can??”it??™s easy to get images like this one:
Here??™s how:
?–  You need to ensure that your camera will give you a long exposure??”at least half
second, and longer if possible.
