Picture | WordArt to insert WordArt into your project. WordArt lets you turn plain text
into a fancy 3-D piece of art.
6. The inside of the card is on the second page. The left inside panel is the left column,
and the right inside panel is the right column. Enter text and images as necessary to lay
out the card you want to create.
7. When you??™re done, you need to print your card manually so it doesn??™t print the second
page of the document on a second sheet of paper. To do that, you have two choices:
?– Load only a single sheet of paper in the printer. When the ?¬? rst page is printed, turn
the paper over and load it back in for the second pass, or
?– Change the printer settings. Open the Printer Properties dialog box and change the
printer??™s paper source to Manual.
If you??™re printing on an inkjet printer, make sure you wait a few minutes for the first side
to dry before turning the paper over and printing the second side. See Chapter 17 for
more information on printing.
Make a Photo Filmstrip
When I showed this particular project to my daughter, I said that I didn??™t really know what
to call it. My intention, as I explained to her, was to arrange photos in a line to look like an
old-fashioned filmstrip, with the center picture popping with color, but all the other images
somewhat bleached or devoid of color.
