additional attributes such as service quality and performance data. They use UDDIe
to support quality of service management (QoSM) in the context of grid computing.
The broker applies a weighted average (WA) selection algorithm to select the
most appropriate service with respect to the client/application request and sends the
result to the client/application. This framework provides a lightweight and practical
solution for QoS-aware service discovery.
UX (Zhou, Chia, & Lee, 2004) is one of our previous works that facilitates requesters
to discover services with good performance. This work describes the network
model and design choices to be decided during implementation.
