"Semantic Web Technologies and E-Business: Toward the Integrated Virtual Organization and Business Process Automation"

Spellex searches for
medical words of 670,000 words while MediSpell searches 170,000 words.
We compared the two products against the misspelling of medical terms to see what
help the users would get. The words tested were chosen from the usability testing
done in an earlier study of the effectiveness of Australian government medical
portals (Moon & Burstein, 2005; Moon & Fisher, 2005). Heuristic usability terms
were chosen as they are closer to natural language processing, that is, the users are
dynamic and unpredictable in the way they spell the words especially when the
word is long and difficult.
